After days of excitement, Youth Summit has come upon us. THe most awaited KKB event before the end of 2008. There was an overflowing, overpouring blessings and annointing over Cuneta Astrodome. 8000 youth from different parts of the country gathered to proclaim Jesus as Lord. We sung praises and rejoiced victoriously.

The 2008 Youth Summit featured personalities such as Anthony Pangilinan, Mari Kaimo, Bro Eddie, Cong Joel, sis Edith……..

Learned a lot.

It was like a dream come true. It came to me that i dreamt myself(way back highschool time) attending an event where I can fully express myself in praising and worshipping God. It’s my first Youth SUmmit to attend and its so overwhelming to see a thousand people from one generation united with one PASSION in worshipping one LORD. Really! I was on the Gen Ad seat on the second day and I can see the whole Cuneta from above. When everyone’s jumping, dancing, waving, raising their hands and shouting ONE WAY, yeah, its really like there’s no more tomorrow.

First Day: Im with Dom, Boy, Casey, Kenneth, Steph and Mean(HS besfriends), Pat, Margarette and Aldo(Dom’s Blockmates), Icko(Kuya Pat’s Girlfriend, Cholo and Eric(Kuya Pat’s classmates), ALbert(habol nung 2nd day).

Wake up call is 530? di kame excited noh. irst time kase. wala pa experience nad gusto namin nasa unahan. haha. ayun. nauna na sina dom and his classmates sa cuneta. dun na rin nakipagmeet sina casey. mga 730 na kame nakarating. Ayun. andon kame sa court. woohoo. Ayan kame nung nasa pila napagkatagal tagal. mga 9am na ata nagopen gates. mejo konte pa lang ung tao nun expecting na 8000 people ung darating. kaya naman Nung 2nd day, mejo nagpatanghali kame. haha, maaga sina dom nakarating ng cuneta kaso pasaway kame. actually akoo. ayun. nakapagreserve sina dom ng seats eh kaso pumila ulet sina dom para samen. ayun. we ended up seating sa gen ad. ung mga nalate ata kahapon eh sobra inaghan nung 2nd day. ang pagkalayo layo namin. di maintindihan ung sinsabi ng speaker. wahaha. anyways. super saya. nakaka annoint. nakaka bless. dami learnings. iba talga feeling! sana ung sunod araneta na talga! at sana part na ko ng committee! haha

eto naman kame nung tapos na ang summit. naglilinis na ng cuneta, nababa nat lahat ang screen sa projector at nababa na ang mga ilaw…tagal kase ni kuyapat. meeting pa raw. sos. nagpipicturan lang naman sila sa loob. mga 1030 or 11 na kame nakaaalis.
